Composting Proposal

In NCLI, we annually make it a goal to complete a community project. In 2023 we chose to focus on composting in the City of Poughkeepsie. We researched the benefits of composting and met with leaders in Hudson Valley communities who have implemented successful composting programs. We looked at what worked in each of these communities and developed a plan for a potential composting program in Poughkeepsie.
