Scavenge around the parks of Poughkeepsie and seek the nature and wildlife of the outdoors.

This program created a scavenger hunt to get people to enjoy the ways of nature. Our goal is to get people to explore the wonderful great outdoors.

College Hill Park: Scavenger Hunt Clues

  • Clue 1

    I stand 70 to 100 feet tall, what makes me special is my bark that has a camouflage pattern composed of gray-brown outer bark that peels off in patches to reveal the light gray or white wood beneath. What am I ?
