Flooding
Have you ever noticed that streets often fill with water when it rains heavily? Have you ever seen the Fall Kill Creek overflow its banks during a storm? That’s called a flood. Floods are an overflow of water onto dry land. The Fall Kill has had some major flooding experiences, especially in 2011 when Tropical Storms Irene & Lee passed through Dutchess County.
